Aadhar Numbers to be delivered soon : Well many of us have been waiting to receive our Aadhar number even after waiting for 4 to 5 months, the wait seems to come to an end very soon. The main reason for delay in the delivery of Aadhaar number to the enrolled person is attributed to the lack of accommodations in the hands of UIDAI. Earlier in the first phase about 10 lakh people per day were enrolled for Aadhaar while the printing facility was for just 1.5 lakh per day. The UIDAI officials informed that the Aadhar number will be dispatched to the enrolled person ny the end of this month.
With the second phase, better facility will be provided and the UIDAI aims to deliver the UID Aadhar card within 45 days of time. Both printing and dispatch processes will be improved in this phase. Almost 23% population of Karnataka have been covered in the first phase of Aadhar enrolment. The UIDIA expect to cover the remaining population in the phase-2 of Aadhaar card enrolment in Karnataka. According to UIDAI report about 16 million people have enrolled for Aadhar card in the state of Karnataka alone including 1.6 million enrolments in Bangalore. Karnataka stands at the third position in India in terms of no. of enrolment.
